LaPolla Designs studio and workshop was founded in 1988 by John LaPolla Jr., an artist and educator born and raised in New York. It is a multidisciplinary firm specializing in Fine Painting, Plaster, Wood Flooring, & Architectural Wood Finishing. John has operated his business along side family for over 35 years; a legacy that now spans three generations and is co-managed by his son John LaPolla III as well as their partner Dan McMillan.

Having inherited a strong artistic sense from the craftsmen that came before them, John Jr. & John III’s creativity and dedication to excellence are what drives them to cultivate, teach, and lead a talented team of artisans who push the boundaries of best practices in their respective field.
